Daily News Bulletin

Congratulations to our new CJSF members!  The list is posted outside room 604. Check your school email for more details. Meeting on Thursday at lunch.

Bobcats, you are amazing!  We adopted 100 kids this year for Giving Tree! If you have a gift to turn in, please drop them off in the office or to Ms. Smith in room 801 no later than Thursday.  Thank you for your generosity and for making someone else’s Christmas cheerful and bright!

Hey Bobcats! Do you want to beeeee the buzzzz of the school? Come try out for the spelling bee! 6th graders meet in room 707 (Mrs. Feller’s room), 7th graders meet in room 802 (Mrs. Donahue’s room) and 8th graders meet in room 607 (Mr. Fry’s room) at lunch THIS Thursday to get more information and take your first test!

Bobcats: would you like to earn some Bobcat bucks? Come into the library and write a letter to Santa. These letters will be delivered to Macy’s benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every letter to Santa equals one Bobcat buck.

Do you have books at home that you no longer read?  Well, here’s your chance to make a positive difference for someone else.  Donate your books to support classrooms impacted by the Camp Fire in Paradise.  Drop off your NEW OR GENTLY USED children’s books in the multipurpose room at lunch or in room 805 (Mrs. O’s room) or 605 (Mr. Field’s room) from December 4th-December 14th.  Thank you for thinking of the students and teachers impacted by the Camp Fire as they rebuild their classroom libraries.

In sports news our boys basketball team took on Olympus last night. The 7th grade team came out strong and was able to keep control of the game.  Nice win 7th grade. 8th grade had a tough battle and were trailing early in the game; however, with hard work and good shooting, the team battled back and won the game.  Both teams have an impressive 4-1 division record with two games left before entering playoffs. Good Luck Bobcats!

Hey, Chilton, there is nothing like hot chocolate on a cold day.  In just a couple of weeks, we are going to be selling it for bobcat bucks. More details will come later, but start planning now by saving a few of your bobcat bucks.

Calling all cans!  We need your food item donations for our Canned Food Drive, which ends this Friday.  Set an alarm, write it down, or message your parents to help you remember to bring your cans, boxes, or jars to give to local families this holiday season.  Thank you for participating!
