In Sports News, Your 7th grade basketball team played in the East Division Tournament last night. They first had to play Glenn Edwards. The Bobcats were trailing at halftime but with solid play the team pulled out the victory to go to the championship game. There they took on Cavitt and played a tough game. Our Bobcats made a last second block which lead to a layup and gave us the Victory! Congrats to the 7th grade team for being the East Division Champions. They take on Granite Oaks this Thursday HERE at Chilton for the Overall FISAL Championship. Please come support your team!  It will be a lot of FUN!  There will be an entrance fee for the Championship Game – $5 for Adults and $1 for Students.

Bobcats, together we have collected 553 books for classrooms affected by the Camp Fire.  Don’t stop there. Let’s see if we can get over 1,000! Please turn in new or gently used children’s books to the multi at lunch, room 805 or room 605 by December 14th.  Thanks for your support.

6th graders, come join us for WEBSday Workday in room 805 after school today.  WEB Leaders will be ready to help you. See you there.

Have the muggles got you down? Come to the Harry Potter Club TOMORROW at lunch in room Science 5. Learn spells and charms, discuss the history of magic and play a muggle version of Quidditch. We will also make fun Harry Potter crafts. Hope to see you there!

Just a reminder Foods Around the World Club members our holiday feast is this Thursday, Dec 13th.

Are you an artistic person?  If so, yearbook is looking forward to seeing your work for our annual yearbook art contest. Information, rules and deadlines are available in your homeroom.  If you’re interested, grab a flyer and get drawing!

Hot chocolate next Wednesday, December 19th.  Bring your own non-breakable travel mug designed for hot drinks and 2 bobcat bucks.  We will begin selling around 8:30. Also, in January we are going to be having a dodge ball tournament during lunch and you also need 5 bobcat bucks to sign up.  Those dodge ball sign ups will start next week before Christmas break. Start saving now!

Hey Bobcats! This Friday, December 14th is Pajama Day and our Polar Express Dance from 4-6 pm, you won’t want to miss it! Come to school dressed in your coziest pajamas for spirit day and wear them to the dance after.   You can purchase tickets this week during lunch in the multi-purpose room. Tickets are only $5.  Remember! You must have your ID card with you to purchase tickets for the dance.  If you lose your ID card, you will have to purchase a new one.
