Congratulations to our 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team!  They beat Twelve Bridges in 2 games last night. They are moving on to the tournament.  Keep it up Ladies! Thank you also to the Cheerleaders who cheered us on to a win. 

Are you artistic? Do you love drawing? Yearbook is looking for your art! It is time for our annual art contest. Get a flyer from your first-period teacher, or Mrs. McGee in room 804. It has all the rules and information. Your artwork is due next Wednesday, October 9th. We will return it to you soon after the 9th.

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month? Our Chilton cheerleaders will be selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts this Friday to raise money for this cause. Doughnuts will be sold for $1 each by the snack bar area before school.

Hey Bobcats: Chilton boys basketball tryouts start next week.  If you missed the meeting on Tuesday, you will need to see the coach for the forms to tryout.  7th grade boys see Mr. Phillips and 8th grade boys see Mr. Beaman.

7th grade girls Volleyball lost to Twelve Bridges yesterday in the 3rd game.  Our girls will continue on to the Playoffs next week.

Who loves DODGEBALL??? Coming in October we will have an indoor  Dodgeball Tournament during Lunch A and Lunch B.  Start forming your teams. You will need 3 bobcat bucks per player for your team to enter.  Games begin Tuesday October 15th.

CJSF Students – Field trip permission forms for our visit to Junction Elementary are due to Mrs. Sterdt by Monday, October 7th. Missed the meeting? See Mrs. Sterdt for a form ASAP.

Attention members of Lunch B Dumbledore’s army. Don’t forget we are voting for Head Boy and Head Girl this week so prepare your speeches. Also, bring your pool noodle, duct tape, and streamers on Thursday so we can build our brooms. You can drop broom materials off in room 808 before the first bell.

Have you not been coming to the Chilton Classic Movies Club? Well, it’s never too late to change. You can start tomorrow as we continue The Great Escape starring the inimitable Steve McQueen and an all-star cast (your grandparents would totally know who all of them are) as POW’s trying to escape from a Nazi POW camp built especially for prisoners who’ve escaped from other camps. It’s escape proof… or is it?

Calling all computer users, cryptic coders, and internet aficionados: Stop by room 807 today at lunch B for coding club. Try to use your skills to create, problem solve, or just explore with your friends.
