The time is finally here! You’ve been asking…….anyone interested in joining this year’s Foods Around the World Club, come to the mandatory informational meeting THIS FRIDAY Oct 11th. First lunch will meet in EX 3, Mrs. Pajcin’s room and 2nd lunch people will meet in Mr. Kelley’s room, EX 5. If you are a former member, note, there will be some changes this year. If you are new and want to join, come find out how you can become a part of this legendary lunch club!
Attention Chilton Cross Country team. For those that are going to the Meet today, head straight to the locker room to change after 6th period instead of going to PAW. ….Also Chilton Cross Country Team, It is time to turn in your jersey. Our end of season party will be next Wednesday after school. Turning in your washed jersey is your ticket to attend the party.
On another note, it is time to fire up the next season of the 5K Running Club. We meet up Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Next Thursday after school will be our first run. See Mr. Ratcliff to pick up the required paperwork.
Calling all Dodgeball Teams…Turn in your team form with 3 Bobcat Bucks to your PE teacher. All teams need to come to the meeting this Friday in the Gym at lunch. Games begin Tuesday October 15th.
Important coding club update: This week coding club during lunch B will be moved to tomorrow, Friday, and will not be meeting today. Stop by and see what you can craftily create with code.
The 8th grade flag football team played in the league playoffs last night. Their first game was against Olympus and it was a tough game but the Bobcats won 19-12. That meant they were playing for the F.I.S.A.L. championship. They played against Silverado and had their best game of the year. The Bobcats won 26-0 and are the 2019 F.I.S.A.L. Champions. Way to go Bobcats! Coach Field, Coach Kelley, and Coach Andy are extremely proud of how you played like a family all season long!
Bobcats – tomorrow is make-up Picture Day. 6th gr. will have their pictures taken during 1st period, 7th gr. during 2nd period and 8th during 3rd period. Please make sure you get your picture taken if you were absent on Picture Day (Aug 13), if you are new to Chilton (started after Aug 13) or if you are doing retakes (please return your original picture packet if doing retakes). Also any staff who missed getting their picture taken on Picture Day – please make sure you get your picture taken too!
Our coffee fundraiser is off to a great start! Many students are already on their way to earning those awesome prizes! Remember to give an update to your teacher to add to your 1st period class’ thermometer. Help your class reach your CLASS GOAL to earn Krispy Kreme doughnuts!!! If you need more order forms see Ms. Smith or Mrs. Feller!
