Young Writers… NaNoWriMo is upon us. If you have a novel that has been sitting in your head for years that you’ve yet to write or if you wanted to keep writing when you were doing your narrative, this is for you. Come to Mr. Fry’s room (607) for first lunch or Ms. Von der Lohe’s room (603) for second lunch every Tuesday and Thursday until December to write, share, and discuss your very own novel with other students and teachers. At the end, we’ll submit the stories you’ve written to the people at NaNoWriMo where other people will have the chance to see your work. See you there!

If you entered the contest and would like your artwork back, please visit Mrs. McGee’s room, 804, to pick it up.

Attention dance team members! We will meet today after school in Mrs. Andersen’s room – Sci 5. This week’s meeting will go until 5pm due to the fact that we may be having special guests coming! We will be starting our dance shirts, so make sure to bring your plain white shirts and any other craft materials and decorations you may have. We will be dancing as well, so feel free to change in the locker room and then head straight to Sci 5 right after school! !

Attention Dumbledore’s Army… Make sure to bring your wands today. We are practicing spells during the Lunch A meeting.

The Finals are here for dodgeball. Two teams, one from each lunch, have made the cut and will be facing off against the mighty teachers this Friday after school starting at 3:20 in the gym. CJSF Members – The CJSF meeting scheduled for this Friday, November 8th has been RESCHEDULED to FRIDAY, November 15th at 8:45am due to a delay in the creation of new membership requirements.

Candy Grams are on sale today at lunch in the multi-purpose room for just $1! Let someone know you are thankful for them by sending them a candy gram.

If you pay too much attention to other people’s lives, you may end up finding out things you’d rather not know… like muuuuuurder. Come to Chilton Classic Movie Club today (Friday) for Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window starring Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. Room 607 for first lunch and room 804 for second. Be there.
