There will be NO WEBSday Workday this Wednesday or next Wednesday.  We will be back in business February 13th.


Pennies for Patients update: You Bobcats have given a total of $1,757.32 so far.  Which makes it official… Mrs. Burak, Mrs. Andersen, AND Mrs. Hall are going to be participating in the Make Up Extravaganza Challenge!  Nice work! We’re about $250 away from adding Mrs. O to the make-up fun. The following individual classes have passed the $100 mark: Mrs. Morgan’s 6th graders have raised a total of $375.91, Mrs. McGee’s 6th graders have $111.61, Mrs. Hayden’s 7th graders have $119.45, and Mrs. Calvo’s 8th grade class has collected $200.74.  Way to go! We have ONE MORE WEEK to get those donations in. Make a difference in the life of a kid with your contribution to this worthy cause.

During our coin drive for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we want to bring awareness to other types of cancers as well.  This week we’re focusing on Childhood Cancers. Did you know that one in every 300 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20?  This Friday, please wear yellow in honor of kids everywhere who are battling with cancer.

Attention ALL 7th graders! Do you know what being a WEB leader is? There will be information coming VERY soon about applying to be a WEB leader for next year so stay tuned!

Come earn one or more Bobcat Bucks by writing a thank you note to a police officer in the library! It’s easy and a great way to show your appreciation for those who serve in our community.

Bobcats: We will be collecting Box Tops from now through February 22nd. For every 25 valid Box Tops you turn in, you will receive one donut on February 28th. Start saving your Box Tops!

Dodgeball tournament is back on today for the 6th grade teams.  Group A – team 1 vs 3 and for Group B – team 4 vs. 6. Be there at 12:30. 

Bookclub meets today in room 804.  Join us for a quiet place to read and a place to talk about good books.

Have you purchased your yearbook yet?? All students who have purchased their book by this Friday, February 1st, will be entered into a drawing to win a prize basket.  If you haven’t ordered yet, log onto the Chilton website and look for Yearbook under Menu and Resources.

In sports news, our lady bobcats traveled to Eich to begin their basketball season yesterday.  Team played well and showed some strong defense, however, our 8th grade team came up a bit short with a 18-21 loss. 7th Grade also played a good game, but came up just a little short. Good luck tomorrow against Buljan.
