Bobcats, you are amazing!  We adopted 100 kids this year for Giving Tree! If you have a gift to turn in, please drop them off in the office or to Ms. Smith in room 801 no later than Thursday.  Thank you for your generosity and for making someone else’s Christmas cheerful and bright!

Attention 5K Club members, there will be no club meeting today after school.  Be sure to go home and not run without Mr. Ratcliff.

Hey Bobcats! Do you want to beeeee the buzzzz of the school? Come try out for the spelling bee! 6th graders meet in room 707 (Mrs. Feller’s room), 7th graders meet in room 802 (Mrs. Donahue’s room) and 8th graders meet in room 607 (Mr. Fry’s room) TODAY at lunch to get more information and take your first test!

Bobcats: would you like to earn some Bobcat bucks? Come into the library and write a letter to Santa. These letters will be delivered to Macy’s benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every letter to Santa equals one Bobcat buck.

Do you have books at home that you no longer read?  Well, here’s your chance to make a positive difference for someone else.  Donate your books to support classrooms impacted by the Camp Fire in Paradise.  Drop off your NEW OR GENTLY USED children’s books in the multipurpose room at lunch or in room 805 (Mrs. O’s room) or 605 (Mr. Field’s room) from December 4th-December 14th.  Thank you for thinking of the students and teachers impacted by the Camp Fire as they rebuild their classroom libraries.

In sports news the boys basketball teams took on Riles last night. The 7th grade team came out strong and was able to keep control of the game and finished with an easy win. The 8th grade team came out strong also and never let up for a 59 to 50 victory. .  Both teams have an impressive 5-1 division record and will head to Twelve Bridges this afternoon for their final league game. Good Luck Bobcats!

Hot chocolate is coming to Chilton on Wednesday, December 19th.  Bring your own non-breakable travel mug designed for hot drinks and 2 bobcat bucks.  And yes, in January we are going to be having a dodgeball tournament during lunch and you also need 5 bobcat bucks to sign up.  Those Dodgeball sign ups will start the last week before Christmas break. Start saving now!

The canned food drive ends TOMORROW!  Mr. Ratcliff has got 131 food items collected, Mrs. Allison has 189, and Mrs. Sterdt has collected 213!  Which classes will earn a double lunch? Help your class by bringing in as many non-perishable food items as possible tomorrow!  Thank you for participating!
