NaNoWriMo or the National Novel Writing Month is almost over! Come join the fun. Our last meeting is today during Lunch in room 603–Mrs. Vargas’s room!

Lunch Reminder:  Please make sure you get your lunch - including slushies – so that you have time to consume everything before your next class begins.  We will stop serving all food items 5 minutes prior to the end of the lunch period. That is 12:23 on Mondays and 12:52 on Tuesday-Friday.

Attention Foods Around the World members! We will have a planning meeting today to plan out next feast. Grab your lunch and come to Mrs Pajcin’s room.

Attention Students of the Month from August, September and October.  Due to the cancellation of school on 11/16, we have moved the pancake breakfast to today.  We look forward to seeing you and your guest there!

We still have 49 Woodbridge Elementary students waiting to be “adopted” by Chilton. We need your help!  Please come by our table at lunch and pick up a gift tag. All gifts must be turned in by December 4th to the front office drop box, or delivered it to Ms. Smith in room 801.  Thank you for your generosity and for making someone else’s Christmas cheerful and bright!

Bobcats: would you like to earn some Bobcat bucks? Come into the library and write a letter to Santa. These letters will be delivered to Macy’s benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every letter to Santa equals one Bobcat buck.

Do you have books at home that you no longer read?  Well, here’s your chance to make a positive difference for someone else.  Donate your books to support classrooms impacted by the Camp Fire in Paradise.  Drop off your NEW OR GENTLY USED children’s books in the multipurpose room at lunch or in room 805 (Mrs. O’s room) or 605 (Mr. Field’s room) from December 4th-December 14th.  Thank you for thinking of the students and teachers impacted by the Camp Fire as they rebuild their classroom libraries

We have over 200 overdue library books! Please come return or renew your library books today.

In sports news, our 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team took on a tough Glen Edwards team yesterday.  The 8th grade Bobcats played great team defense and finished with a 47 to 42 victory. The 7th grade team took on an undefeated Glenn Edwards team and  had a great game with everyone contributing to the win. Great job boys. The wins moves both of our teams to a 3 and 1 division record heading into the final week of the season. .

The canned food drive race is heating up.  Yesterday alone, Mrs. Vargas’s homeroom class brought in 49 food items and Mrs. Musky’s class brought in 43.  Great work! Mrs. Sterdt’s homeroom class is still in the lead with 87 cans. Keep those donations coming! They will really brighten the holidays for some of your fellow Roseville citizens.
