Pennies for Patients update: You Bobcats have given a total of $1,757.32 so far.  Which makes it official… Mrs. Burak, Mrs. Andersen, AND Mrs. Hall are going to be participating in the Make Up Extravaganza Challenge!  Nice work! We’re about $250 away from adding Mrs. O to the make-up fun. The following individual classes have passed the $100 mark: Mrs. Morgan’s 6th graders have raised a total of $375.91, Mrs. McGee’s 6th graders have $111.61, Mrs. Hayden’s 7th graders have $119.45, and Mrs. Calvo’s 8th grade class has collected $200.74.  Way to go!

Our school total is climbing!  We have collected a total of $882.19 in our Pennies for Patients coin drive.  Want to know which classes are in the lead? Mr. Dunn’s 7th and 8th grade class has brought in $66.72 so far.  Mrs. Mehalakis’s class is close on their tail with a total of $62.90. Mrs. Hayden’s 7th graders have $58.26. So far though, our school leaders are Mrs. Morgan’s 6th graders with a total of $116.89 collected.  They want that catered lunch from Olive Garden! Keep those donations rolling in to support this worthy cause.

Did you know that our school goal for Pennies for Patients is to raise $6,500 in donations for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society?  We need your help to get there! Bring your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, bills, or even check donations to your homeroom teacher and help us meet our goal!  If each student in our school brought in $8, we would hit our goal. Leading the way in 6th grade we have Mrs. McGee’s class with $71.48 collected last week. In 7th grade, Mrs. Vargas’s class has the lead with $15.92, but Mrs. Sterdt is close behind at $10.18.  Mrs.

Please bring in any spare change you have to your homeroom classroom for our Pennies for Patients fundraiser.  The classroom that brings in the most money in each grade level will win a tasty treat. The overall winning class will be awarded a pasta lunch from Olive Garden.  So, start collecting!

Dodgeball tournament sign ups are today and Friday.  This will be your last two chances to get your teams ready.  Just 5 bobcat bucks for each team member. Head over to the multi during lunch to get your team form and sign up.
